3D World Magazine

I’m 85% finished with a six-page tutorial spread in 3D World Magazine, and if all goes as planned, it should go to press by February. I won’t give away what I’ll be modeling just yet, but lets just say I’m pretty excited about it! This should be fun. :)

Otis

In January I’ll begin teaching a few classes at Otis College of Art and Design. I’ll be teaching some basic CAD classes for the spring semester, and may possibly move into a studio class or two in the fall. I will continue to build my consulting business during most of the week, and working with the students at Otis should be a great way to keep thinking outside the box and find new inspiration.

This is an exciting opportunity for me to learn a new field, and gain a different perspective on design education.

Taurus interior sub-d mock-up

I’ve been building this out in Modo for a project that involves rendering a product inside a car. It’s by no means true-to-life in terms of dimensions and fine details, and close-inspection will definitely give it away, but it should be enough to come across nicely for the application in question.
